Haunted Houses in Cleveland, Ohio Halloween Fun

Cleveland knows how to show off one of the most beautiful seasons of all… Fall! If you’re familiar with Northeast, Ohio’s weather, you know that we live in one of the best locations in the nation for fall foliage, autumn harvests, crisp weather days, sprawling farms and beautiful metro parks. If you’re new the area or haven’t yet familiarized yourself with some of fall’s fun, now is a great time to get out and explore. One of the best parts of this time of year for kids, teens and young adults is visiting Ohio’s haunted houses. The Cleveland area has some great haunted houses. Some of the best in the nation. Here’s a list of Halloween fun, naming some of Northeast, Ohio’s best haunted houses to visit throughout October.

HalloWeekends at Cedar Point. Not only can you ride some of the scariest rides on the planet, but you can be spooked by some of the scariest haunted houses and characters. Cedar Point leaves no stone unturned  or unhaunted during October. Definitely worth going.

7 Floors of Hell at the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds. Seven very scary haunted houses over 20 acres. This is a must-go if you haven’t yet. They do a great job of wearing down your vocals. Kind of costly if paying for a group. Admission is up a bit at $25 and parking is not free. They offer a line jump pass for $33, but I don’t recommend it. If the weather permits, the line waiting is half the fun for teens with friends. Line jumping gets you through all of them fast and your night is over quickly.

Haunted Forest of Carousel at 1451 Lake Breeze Rd Sheffield, Ohio. 1/2 mile trail through a dark, haunted forest. Just typing that makes me cringe! Pretty good value at $12 for adults and $6 for kids.

The Fear Experience located at their new location, 10701 Brookpark Rd in Parma, Ohio. Pretty good value for the scare factor. $20 gets you into 3 haunted houses, Zombie paintball, fire breathing shows and free parking. Warning: The monsters WILL touch you! Not recommended for anyone young children! You can omit the Zombie paintball and it’s just $16!

Spooky Ranch – Rockin’-R-Ranch at 19066 East River Road Columbia Station, Ohio – Different packages available. To do all the attractions, it’s $20. Haunted hayride, Crazy Clown 3D, Haunted Barn, Funny Fun House and Extreme Nightmares.

Hauntville – 1553 West River Road Elyria, Ohio – New features for 2012. The first Crazy Clown 4D experience! 3 haunted houses for the price of one admission of $16.
